ServiziDegree courses with restricted access
Students may request exemption from the admission test if, following a preliminary evaluation of their career, they have enough CFU (university training credits) to be admitted to the 2nd or 3rd year, as per the admission announcement. The request must be submitted by filling out the appropriate form. All documentation must be sent in PDF format to the email address: concorsi.scienze@ateneo.univr.it, attaching a scan of a valid identity document and specifying in the subject: Preventive evaluation/name of the study course.
- Period: Within the deadlines set out in the admission announcement
- Form: Programmed access form
- Result:
- if the student is admitted to the first year, he/she must take the admission test as set out in the admission announcement; then follow the procedure for moving to the first year of a restricted access course;
- if the student is admitted to years after the first, he/she is exempted from the test.
- After receiving the notification of exemption from the admission procedure to the ranking, the candidates must send the form for the course change for years following the first in PDF format to the email address: concorsi.scienze@ateneo.univr.it, attaching a scan of a valid identity document and specifying in the subject: Course change/name of the course of study
- fill in the Single Benefits Application to request scholarships and reductions in fees (competent office: Right to Education); attention: the deadlines of the Single Benefits Application;
- wait to be contacted by the Student Secretary- Careers for enrollment in the year following the first.
Attention: please note that in case of enrollment in years subsequent to the first, in the first session of January-March you can take EXCLUSIVELY exams of the first semester A.A. 2023/2024.
Open access degree courses
With the request to move to free access courses, students are required to report to their Student Secretariat any exams successfully passed in previous sessions and NOT yet recorded in their Esse3 career. Otherwise, once the handover/transfer procedure has been completed, the exams can no longer be recorded.
Transition to first year
Students enrolled in a study course at the University of Verona who intend to request a transfer to another open access study course must:
- log in to ESSE3 with your credentials and fill in the course transfer application, in the “Career > Course transfer” section (click on “Insert Transfer Application” and then on “Transfer Applications”, then fill in the required fields);
- proceed with the payment of the stamp duty and the first installment of fees and contributions via PagoPA (by accessing the “payments” section of Esse3). Attention: the first installment of taxes and contributions must be paid in relation to the career of origin.
Transition to years after the first
Students may request an informal preliminary assessment ONLY IF they have obtained enough CFU to overcome the first-year threshold of the three-year degree course. A special Commission will evaluate whether the student can be admitted to years after the first.
Requests from students who do not have a sufficient number of CFU to overcome the first-year barrier will not be considered; they must therefore follow the procedure for moving to the first year of an open-access course.
The request must be submitted by filling out the appropriate form. All documentation must be sent in PDF format to the email address: concorsi.scienze@ateneo.univr.it, attaching a scan of a valid identity document and specifying in the subject: Preventive evaluation/name of the course of study.
- from 10.07.2024 to 15.10.2024 Also possible by 16.12.2024 with late payment (€ 20)
After receiving the outcome, the student can:
- fill out the Single Benefit Application to request scholarships and contribution reductions (competent office: Right to Study); pay attention to the deadlines of the Single Benefit Application;
- continue within the deadline indicated in the Academic Calendar with the course transfer procedure in ESSE3, by logging in with your credentials and filling out the course transfer application in your Reserved Area, in the “Career > Course Transfer” section (click on “Insert Transfer Application” and then on “Transfer Applications”, then fill in the empty fields);
- proceed with the payment of the stamp duty of the current value and the first installment of taxes and contributions (if it has not already been paid previously) via PagoPA (access the “payments” section of Esse3). Verify in the “payments” section of Esse3 that the taxes of the previous years have been paid and registered; otherwise, it will not be possible to proceed with the transfer;
- exams already taken previously are automatically evaluated by a special Commission and validated in the career by the Student Secretariat - Careers within the first session of exams, following an email that will be sent to the student with the outcome of the evaluation resolution;
- After validation, the Student Secretariat - Careers will enroll the student in the correct year.
Attention: please note that in case of enrollment in years after the first, in the first session of January-March you can take EXCLUSIVELY exams of the first semester A.A. 2023/2024.
