Threshold knowledge and Integrative Learning Requirements (Obblighi Formativi Aggiunti - OFAs) - Foreign Languages and Literatures

Threshold knowledge and Integrative Learning Requirements (OFAs) are the prerequisites for enrolment in the following year’s courses. Enrolment in the second year of study is contingent upon the results of OFA assessments.

Those who do not pass the threshold knowledge assessment by September 30 are enrolled in the 1st year as repeat students.

B2 Level (all modules) of Italian language

The B2 Level (all modules) of Italian language is mandatory only for non-EU students and for students who graduated from a high school whose language of instruction was not Italian. Without this certification, students cannot take any exams.

For Students from Non-EU Countries

The Italian language proficiency test taken during matriculation at the CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo), on the date indicated by MIUR, does not fulfil the threshold knowledge (OFA) requirement of a full B2 level (all modules) in the Italian language.

Schedule for threshold knowledge integration activities
