Catalan Language Post Literacy - Academic Year 2024-25

Students enrolled in the bachelor's and master's degree programs in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures are notified that registration for the Catalan Language – Post Literacy Level course will be open online between January 10 and February 2, 2025. Enrolment must be submitted online, through Esse3, under the "Initiatives" section.

There are 35 available seats (15 for students of the LM38 program and 20 for students from other degree programs in the Languages Area), and 80% attendance is required to be admitted to the final exam. Upon passing the exam, the following credits will be recognized:

• 3 CFU F and 3 CFU D to students enrolled in the LM38 master’s degree program (for further details, see section 2.6.2 of the Student Handbook)
• 6 CFU D to students enrolled in L12, L11 ED, L11 ED-DH, L11 LLS, LM37 degree programmes.

CFUs will be recorded, regardless of type, as eligibility (no grade in thirtieths).  

The list of admitted students will use the following criteria: grade point average, and when ex-aequo, the number of CFUs earned (for first-year master's degree students, the bachelor’s degree grade will be considered).

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS to be considered for selection is to be regularly enrolled in the a.y. 2024/2025, must have paid the instalments and to have already passed Catalan Language Literacy.

The course will be offered in the second semester, according to the published class schedule. The list of selected students will be published by Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Only selected students will be allowed to participate in the course.
