Tutor for Final Paper – Foreign Languages and Literatures

APPLYING FOR A TUTOR IS MANDATORY AND A PREREQUISITE FOR GRADUATION.

Students are eligible to request a tutor for their final paper after acquiring at least 147 CFUs (credits for courses outside the study plan or exceeding them cannot be counted) and successfully passing the Foreign Language 2 exams for both languages of study (as per CD resolution 25-01-23).

To apply for a tutor, submit a request via Help desk. The application must be a single PDF file and include the following documents:

  1. the completed application form
  2. a statement in lieu of certification with SSDs (Settori Scientifico-Disciplinari) and CFUs
  3. if applicable, a self-certification for exams taken but not yet included in the transcript
For the Bachelor’s in Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Commerce (L12) one of the two selected  disciplines must NECESSARILY be either type A or B (as per CD resolution 25-01-23). 

For detailed information regarding tutor assignments and how to complete the application, please refer to the attached “Rules regarding the assignment of tutors.” 

Please note that a tutor assignment is VALID FOR ONE YEAR from the application deadline. After this period, students must apply for renewal or request a new assignment. Tutor assignments made in April 2023 have been automatically extended until June 2024

Upcoming DEADLINES to apply for a tutor are as follows:  

June 8, 2024 (valid until June 7, 2025) 
September 24, 2024 (valid until September 23, 2025) 
February 2025 (date to be determined)
