Individual Job Guidance

Servizi

Are you about to graduate or have you recently graduated but have no idea what to do after graduation? You still haven't decided whether to find a job or continue your studies by enrolling in a new Bachelor's or Master's degree programme?

No problem! The University of Verona's Career Service Office has a competent staff at your disposal to help you find your way around and know how to enhance your strengths in order to make the most of them!

Individual Job Guidance

The Individual Job Guidance service is aimed at promoting the conditions to improve your employability (i.e. your ability to enter and remain in the labour market) by providing you with qualified assistance to help you get to know your skills better, prepare better CVs, outline the professional areas you are interested in, draw up an action plan for entering the world of work or, possibly, complement your training.

The service is made possible by a collaboration between the Career Service Office and the university's Department of Human Sciences.

Who’s it for?

Recent graduates (within 12 months of obtaining their qualification) and students at the University of Verona (who have already submitted their graduation application).

Overview

The individual Job Guidance service consists of three face-to-face sessions with a specially trained operator and includes various activities to be carried out independently by the student/graduate (e.g. filling in questionnaires and taking tests; reviewing the CV under the guidance of the operator; searching for job ads, etc.). Please see the enclosed Guide (in Italian) for details. The complete cycle of sessions takes approximately two months, taking into account the time intervals between sessions.

Sessions - which generally last between 30 and 60 minutes - are held in person at the offices of the Career Service Office (T.13 Chiostro San Francesco) or remotely via Zoom.

Please note: this service is aimed at supporting the student/graduate who will need to perform a number of activities themselves, such as gathering and organising the relevant information, making the necessary assessments, taking the consequent decisions. The path proposed here generally requires personal motivation and commitment.

To apply for this Service, sign the PDF Guide you will find in the DOCUMENTS section on this page. Then upload it in the registration form you find here.
