How to configure the Google Authenticator Mobile App for MFA authentication with TOTP codes – Ipad
ServiziFirst installation of the app
- Download and install the Google Authenticator app from the Apple Store (to use Google Authenticator on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you must have iOS 13.0 or later).
- Open the app, click 'start' and then select Create your first account
- Press 'Scan a QR code' and use your device's camera to scan the code generated on the site https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr
- When the account "UniVR_MFA\XXXX" appears, click "Add Account". The first TOTP code associated with the newly created account will then appear.
If the app has already been installed
- Open the app, select the '+' button at the bottom right, then click 'Add Account'
- Press "Scan QR code" and use your device's camera to scan the code generated on the site https://aap.univr.it/UNIVRMfaQr/qr
- When the account "UniVR_MFA\XXXX" appears, click "Add Account". The first TOTP code associated with the newly created account will then appear.
How to generate TOTP codes for authentication
- Open the App
- Select the Univr MFA account: this will display the TOTP code to be used (the circular image on the right indicates the time remaining until that TOTP code expires).
